Services
Arboricultural surveys – ground level visual tree condition surveys using OTISS software, with ongoing management recommendations. I can also act as project manager on larger works, following on from the initial survey.
Consultation visits – providing practical real-world solutions to ongoing issues as well as direction and guidance to individuals undertaking work. Providing an outside perspective to projects or maintenance.
Management plans - detailed long term management plans (Horticultural, Woodland, Environmental, Conservation, etc.) structured over any time-scale to provide aims and objectives and how to practically achieve them. I am also a current Green Flag award judge so know the requirements to achieve the necessary standards.
Design – scaled plans for replanting individual beds and borders through to larger designs. (Not pretty perspective drawings that give you an unrealistic picture of what the final project might look like!)
Project management – As an independent third party I can undertake technical supervision, programming, organisation and financial management of larger garden and landscape projects, either carried out by a single or multiple contractors.
Specifications – detailed for one-off projects to enable contractor tendering and budgeting or simply instructional materials covering a range of specific operations such as ground preparation, planting or maintenance.
Health and Safety – producing risk assessments and safe systems of work for horticultural operations.
Education - bespoke short training courses on specific horticultural subjects and issues.
